Act fast. Blocking is instant and you can do it yourself from the app.
Step 1: block the card now
- Go to Cards.
- Select the affected card.
- Tap Freeze if you think it might turn up, or Cancel if it’s gone for good.
Freeze is reversible. Cancel is permanent and requires issuing a new card.
If you can’t access the app, call our emergency line, available 24 hours.
Step 2: review your activity
Go to Activity and check transactions since you last had the card. If there are charges you don’t recognise, dispute each one from its transaction detail.
Step 3: order a replacement
From Cards → Order replacement. Cost: ARS 4,000. Delivery times are the same as for a new card.
While you wait for the plastic, you can use your virtual card without restriction.
Unrecognised charges
If there were fraudulent charges before the block, open a dispute for each one. See the article on disputing charges.
Charges after the block shouldn’t be possible. If you see one, report it immediately: it may indicate a different problem.
Robbery with violence
If you were robbed under duress and forced to hand over your PIN or make transactions:
- Block everything from the app or by phone.
- File a police report.
- Contact us and attach the police report to your claim.
Your PIN
Never share it or write it down near the card. If you suspect someone saw it, change it from the app even if you still have the plastic.
