Your balance earns yield every day, with nothing to do on your part and without locking up your money.
How it works
When you enable yield, your balance is automatically invested in a money market fund. The money stays available: you can spend or transfer it at any time, with no lock-up or penalty.
How to enable it
- Go to Yield.
- Read the information about the fund and its risks.
- Tap Enable.
Requires a Verified or Plus level account.
When it’s credited
Yield is calculated every day, including weekends and holidays, and credited to your balance daily.
You’ll see a daily entry in Activity with the breakdown.
How much you’ll earn
The yield is variable. It depends on the fund’s performance, which in turn depends on market conditions. The rate changes daily.
On the Yield screen we show the last 30 days’ performance. That figure is historical and does not guarantee future results.
Risks
This is an investment, not a fixed-term deposit or a savings account. Specifically:
- The yield may be lower than expected.
- In adverse market conditions, the value of your investment can fall.
- There is no capital guarantee.
- It is not covered by any deposit insurance scheme.
Read the fund’s management rules before enabling.
Disabling
You can disable yield whenever you want from Yield → Disable. The redemption credits to your balance within 24 business hours.
Taxes
Yield may be subject to tax depending on your tax situation. Any withholdings we apply are shown on each transaction and in your annual tax documentation.
Consult your accountant. We do not provide tax or investment advice.
